Integrated Support Solutions Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Line Cook for a college cafe in Mission Viejo, CA. The role offers a predictable daytime schedule, working Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a focus on diverse menu preparation and customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 months in a kitchen, is skilled in food prep and knife work, and holds a California Food Handlers card. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California Food Handlers card.
• Minimum of 12 consecutive months in a kitchen experience.
• Experience with food prep and knife skills; black top grill a plus.

Responsibilities

• Food prep/cooking and menu options (pasta, pizza, Mexican, Chinese, breakfast/lunch grills).
• Set up and break down stations; clean stations, dishes, floors.
• Assist customers with meal orders at stations and maintain cafeteria cleanliness.
• Stock and store deliveries; maintain professional appearance and teamwork.

We have an opening for a Full Time Line Cook in a college cafe in the Mission Viejo area.

Shift to convey as follows: Monday - Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m .

Requirements

Job Requirements are:

• Must hold a California Food Handlers card. If expired, must renew.
• Must have a minimum of 12 consecutive months of employment in a kitchen; must have experience with food prep and knife skills...black top grill a plus!

Job duties include:

Food prep/cooking

Menu options-pastas, pizzas, Mexican food, Chinese food, breakfast grill, lunch grill and grab n’ go meals

Setting up, take down of stations, cleaning stations, dishes, sweeping of kitchen and mopping of kitchen area

Putting deliveries away in designated area

Able to assist customers with meal orders at each station

Assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, kitchen and eating area.

The qualified candidate should be organized, a self-starter, detail oriented, punctual and have good people skills. The qualified candidate should demonstrate a positive, encouraging and teamwork attitude. The qualified candidate must maintain a professional appearance.
