Job summary

Bobo’s Café is hiring a Line Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen known for fresh food and a welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, from prep to plating, while maintaining equipment and following recipes and standards set by the kitchen lead.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a line cook role, is a team player, and can work efficiently under pressure. English fluency is required, with Spanish a plus; ServSafe is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a Line Cook position
• ServSafe Certificate preferred
• Able to walk or stand for long periods
• Be able to lift at least 25 pounds
• English fluency (Spanish preferred)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and portioning of food.
• Maintains and properly uses all kitchen equipment including griddle, fryers, blenders, food processors, mixers and other kitchen equipment.
• Prep duties properly prepared according to cookbook procedures, seasoned and cooked to standards taught by kitchen lead
• Follows operating procedures of all recipes, techniques, and kitchen duties as taught by the kitchen lead
• Responsible for correct inventory storage, labeling and dating of preparations and waste management
• Maintaining an organized cooking station with efficient knife work
• Cleaning the station and assisting with deep cleaning schedule
• Support the BoBo’s team for callsouts or catering when needed
• Adhere to Department of Health standards for clean, safe kitchen spaces
