Grill And Toast Inc. in California is seeking kitchen staff to support our busy restaurant as a prep cook. You will set up the station, prepare items, follow recipes, and ensure timely, sanitary service.

Responsibilities include restocking, maintaining safety and cleanliness, operating equipment, and assisting with kitchen organization across storage areas. Prior experience with cooking fundamentals and knife handling is valued, with opportunities across all shifts.

Qualificações

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of proper knife handling and food safety.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion controls.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift.
• Cleans and maintains station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills.
• Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas.
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
