Qualifications

• Ability to work quickly while maintaining food quality and safety.
• Ability to manage multiple orders during busy service.

• Basic reading, writing and kitchen-math skills.
• California Food Handler Card or able to obtain one within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize assigned prep and cooking stations.
• Prepare ingredients and menu items according to established recipes and production lists.
• Cook and plate food accurately, consistently and efficiently.
• Follow portion, presentation and quality standards.
• Safely operate grills, griddles, fryers, ovens, stoves, mixers, knives and other kitchen equipment.
• Monitor food quality, doneness, temperature and presentation.
• Label, date, rotate and store ingredients and prepared food.
• Restock ingredients and supplies before and during service.
• Complete required prep, production, temperature, waste and inventory records.
• Maintain clean, sanitary and organized stations and storage areas.
