Steamplant Restaurant and Events in Spokane is seeking a Kitchen Prep Cook to assist with prep and to prepare all aspects of food production. You will maintain quality, uphold sanitation and safety, follow recipes, and help manage par stocks while supporting a team in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work any day or hour.

Responsabilités

• Maintain quality of food and ensure consistency in delivery standards.
• Uphold sanitation, cleanliness and safety across all kitchen areas.
• Follow controls to minimize food and supply waste and theft.
• Safeguard all food preparation by providing training on safety, sanitation and accident prevention.
• Help control food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction.
• Keep management informed of F&B issues as they arise.
• Coordinate par stock levels; monitor portion size, taste and temperature.
• Communicate with the next shift to pass on information.
• Complete tasks on daily checklist.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
