Job summary

Golfzon Social Hoyt in Brooklyn, NY, is hiring a Line Cook/Porter to join a fast-paced hospitality team. The role supports prep, cooking, cleanliness, and inventory while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and reliability.

The position offers both part-time and full-time options, with compensation of $18–$21 per hour and benefits including medical, dental, and PTO. Reports to the Director of Food and Beverage and General Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• NYC Food Handlers Certification is preferred.
• ServSafe Food Manager a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
• Assist with food prep tasks to ensure kitchen efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to meet service demands.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and daily logs/checklists.
