Job summary

Flagship Restaurant Group is seeking a full-time line cook to join our kitchens. You will prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards, set up and stock stations, and support timely service.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience preferred but training is provided.
• Strong communication and ability to read and follow instructions.
• Able to stand, bend, lift, and walk throughout the shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and maintain food safety standards.
• Dedication to teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the shift.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
• Assist in inventory management and notify management of low items.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and sanitary conditions at all times.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

About You

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required as we offer a comprehensive training program
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to read write and follow instructions effectively
• You thrive in a fast paced environment and are comfortable with physical tasks including standing bending lifting and walking throughout the workday
• You have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and are committed to maintaining our food safety and sanitation standards

About the Job

• Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards ensuring consistency in every dish served
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the shift ensuring all items are readily available for efficient cooking
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed including proper handling storage and disposal of food
• Assist in inventory management including rotating stock and notifying management of any low inventory items
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring all areas are sanitary and ready for use at all times
• Work closely with other kitchen staff and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food service
