Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook in a restaurant or cafe setting
• Hands-on experience making fresh pasta from scratch is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute fresh, handmade pasta dishes from scratch daily
• Maintain line cook stations and ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours
• Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure consistent food quality
• Monitor food prep, portioning, and storage to meet health and safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and execution of orders
• Assist with mise en place, prep work, and kitchen organization before each shift
• Keep workstations clean, sanitized, and stocked throughout service
