Job summary

Greenwood Communities and Resorts is seeking a Line Cook on Hilton Head Island to join our culinary team, delivering plates that meet our standards of quality service and hospitality.

Responsibilities include prepping meats, seafood, vegetables and other items, following recipes, and maintaining sanitation to ensure timely expediting of meals in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and present food in a live, guest-facing cooking environment with confidence and professionalism.
• Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and health department regulations.

• Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices.
• Ensure that soiled equipment is cleaned for proper sanitation.
• Maintain and ensure quality of product through expediting meal service.

• Must be able to speak and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

SENSORY/PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to stand and work for long periods of time in an outdoor environment
• Capable of performing duties in extreme temperatures.
