Oak View Group is a global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry. We offer comprehensive solutions for world-class venues, including arenas, convention centers, music festivals, and cultural institutions.

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing foods served to guests throughout the venue. The role requires excellent attendance, flexibility to work scheduled events, and prior experience in cooking. Ability to multitask is a plus.

This position offers an hourly rate of $18.00. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) savings plan and matching.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-quality, fresh food in a timely manner for guests.
  2. Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portioning standards.
  3. Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent service and product delivery.
  4. Report any kitchen equipment maintenance needs.
  5. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
  6. Observe and test foods for proper cooking.
  7. Demonstrate excellent attendance.
  8. Previous experience as a cook or prep cook required.
  9. Operate standard kitchen equipment such as broilers, steamers, convection ovens, mixers, meat slicers, and knives.
  10. Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests in English.
  11. Work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  12. Possess valid food handling certification if required by law; ServSafe preferred.
