Base pay range

Position Summary

The Line Cook prepares foods to be served to guests throughout the venue, often having direct contact with the public in areas such as buffet lines or dishes prepared to order. The role requires excellent attendance and flexibility to work scheduled events based on business needs.

This position is based at Lockhart Stadium - Inter Miami CF in Fort Lauderdale, FL, which features 30 acres of green space, youth soccer fields, a park, and a community center open to the public. For more about the venue, visit intermiamicf.com.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, fresh food products in a timely manner.
• Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portioning standards.
• Work as part of a team in food preparation, service, and delivery.
• Report any kitchen equipment maintenance needs.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
• Test foods for proper cooking.
• Portion, plate, and garnish food for presentation.
• Coordinate with culinary leadership on menu planning and food consumption estimates.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook or prep cook.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment including broilers, steamers, convection ovens, mixers, meat slicers, and knives.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Valid food handling certification as required by regulations.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
