Position: Line Cook

Hourly Pay: $17-19

Job Location: My Neighbor Felix, Colorado Springs

Job Description:

A Line Cook is responsible for preparing food items accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Working under the supervision of the Head Chef, the Line Cook ensures that food is cooked to order, portioned properly, and presented according to restaurant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cooking and preparation: Prepares ingredients and cooks dishes according to the menu and chef’s specifications.
• Station management: Manages a designated station (e.g., grill, sauté, fry, prep) during service.
• Consistency and quality control: Ensures food is presented correctly and meets quality standards.
• Sanitation and safety: Maintains cleanliness and organization of the station, following health and safety regulations.
• Team coordination: Works closely with other cooks, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a line cook or in a kitchen environment.
• Skills: Attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes and instructions. Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
