Azabu Miami and Lolo's is seeking a line cook/prep cook to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items, stock stations, and maintain high standards of food safety and plating quality.

The role requires reliability across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical stamina for long shifts and lifting up to 40 lbs. Experience in Mexican-inspired cuisine is strongly preferred, along with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Formación

• Experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of Mexican ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques preferred.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook menu items per recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock stations before service.
• Ensure correct temperatures and portions, plate attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, stations, and storage.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with food prep: chopping, marinating, sauce prep.
• Communicate with kitchen team and front-of-house for smooth service.
• Monitor food quality and report issues to Kitchen Supervisor or Executive Sous Chef.
• Support inventory control by minimizing waste and proper storage.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
