Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food items in line with recipes and production standards. You will manage line setup, rotate stock, check pars, and assist in cost-control while maintaining safety and quality across all dishes.

The role emphasizes timely prep, proper labeling, and adherence to hospitality standards, with opportunities across full-time and part-time shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
• Begin food items that are prepared ahead of time, avoiding over-preparation.
• Date all food containers and rotate per company standards, keep perishables at proper temps.
• Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation and line setup.
• Return all unused items to storage, cover and date perishables.
• Assist in planning actions to correct food cost problems and control waste.
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen tools and equipment.
• Follow safe work habits, wear safety gear and comply with MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
