Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) for our Clinton, IA area restaurant. You will handle assigned prep work and cook’s station, maintaining our standards for product presentation, quality, and cook times.

You’ll learn to prepare all menu items according to our recipes and specifications as part of the Kitchen Team, cross-trained across kitchen roles. You will contribute to a fun, family atmosphere and learn aspects of business, leadership, and hospitality while

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food prep tools.
• Mobility required during the entire shift; able to transport items up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
