Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group, operating as Legacy Apple in its Applebee’s locations, seeks a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) to handle assigned prep work and cook’s station while maintaining high standards for presentation, quality, and cook times. You will be cross-trained across kitchen roles and learn the Applebee’s recipes and specifications.

Responsibilities include following recipes, completing prep, setting up stations, and upholding sanitary practices.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
