Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group, the family-owned operator behind Applebee’s Legacy Apple, is seeking a Line Cook to join our Kitchen Team. You will perform assigned prep work and man your station while upholding our high standards for presentation, quality, and speed.

You’ll learn to prepare all menu items according to recipes and specifications, and you’ll be cross-trained across kitchen roles to support a fun, collaborative dining environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to read recipes and follow instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using knives and food prep equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s recipes and standards.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation per station diagram.
• Maintain sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area during and after shifts.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
