Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group, operating as Legacy Apple in Applebee’s, is seeking a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) to join the team. You will be responsible for your assigned prep work and cook’s station, maintaining high standards for product quality and presentation, while learning all kitchen department roles.

You will follow Applebee’s recipes and specifications, work to meet cook times, and support sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a clean, efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Able to use knives, slicing equipment and other food prep equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee's recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
