Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group, operating Applebee’s Legacy Apple in the community, invites you to join the Kitchen Team as a Line Cook. You’ll be responsible for cooking and presenting dishes per recipes and standards, while learning business, leadership, and hospitality in a family atmosphere.

You will work on a prep-heavy station, cross-trained across kitchen roles, and contribute to high-quality plate presentation and timely service.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Able to handle high-volume kitchen and fast pace.
• Strong reading and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled with knives and food prep equipment.
• Mobility for full shift and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s Recipes, Plate Presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
