Job summary

Captain Whidbey Inn seeks a Line Cook II to join our culinary team. You will read and implement recipes, prepare dishes to ensure quality and consistency, and support daily kitchen operations with strong attention to sanitation.

You will also read instructions, adjust preparations for flavor, and collaborate with teammates to meet guest expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Line Cook II is responsible for reading and interpreting recipes, conducting inventory and adhering to standards for sanitation and safe food handling procedures.

What Does Success Look Like:

Your Impact

• Previous cooking experience required
• Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s)
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
• Must possess knife skills, the ability to adjust preparations for flavor, and accommodate customer’s needs in a timely manner.
