The Lofton Hotel, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, invites you to join our downtown Minneapolis team as a line cook. You will prepare and present high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, following Hilton Tapestry Collection standards.

Formación

• Professional culinary schooling or 3 years similar experience.
• Able to read orders from POS.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and meat handling.
• Knowledge of steaks and prime rib cooking techniques.
• USDA meat cutting skills for prime, ribeye, filets and more.
• Ability to trim and portion meats per Hilton program.
• Ability to work long hours and under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook food quickly and correctly following required recipes.
• Store food properly with correct dating and rotation.
• Determine inventory and requisition from storeroom.
• Set up equipment prior to service.
• Maintain high quality and presentation of dishes.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Communicate with cooks, wait staff and management.
