The Lofton Hotel, part of The Marcus Corporation, is seeking a line cook in downtown Minneapolis to prepare and finish items to exact recipes. You will work with Hilton's Tapestry Collection standards and contribute to a top-ranked dining experience.

Responsibilities include fast, accurate cooking, proper food rotation, and coordinating with kitchen and service teams. The role requires culinary training or 3 years’ experience and the ability to work long hours and under pressure.

Formación

• Culinary schooling or 3 years related experience.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and meat cutting.
• English language knowledge.
• Ability to work long hours and under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook food quickly following recipes.
• Store food with proper dating and labeling.
• Determine inventory and requisition from storeroom.
• Set up equipment prior to service.
• Maintain high quality of food production and plated presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cooking area.
• Communicate with cooks, wait staff and management.
