Qualifying candidates have a high school diploma, 3 years in culinary, strong English communication, and knowledge of multiple kitchen stations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years experience in culinary field.
• Ability to communicate in English with guest, co-workers and management to their understanding.
• Previous tournant experience or knowledge of grill, sauté, garde manger, soups, pastry and vegetable prep.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Culinary college degree is desirable.
• Sanitation Certificate is desirable.
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of restaurant production.
• Display and present items designated by sous chef for service.
• Complete mise en place to the satisfaction of supervisor and sous chef.
• Follow established recipes and plating guides to exact specifications.
• Maintain and organize station and equipment neatly and orderly.
• Contribute to a positive work environment.
