Award winning restaurant group, Dante NYC is looking for a full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team. Candidates should be passionate about seasonal, local food with a focus on Italian cuisine and seafood.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to set recipes and standards.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before and during service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and the kitchen overall.
Work with speed and accuracy during busy shifts while maintaining quality.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Communicate effectively with other cooks, chefs, and front-of-house staff.
Assist with prep tasks and other duties as needed, including inventory and receiving deliveries.
3+ years of experience as a line cook, preferably in a busy kitchen.
Familiarity with Italian ingredients, techniques, and seafood handling is a major plus.
Ability to handle the pressure of a high-volume environment with professionalism.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain).
