Wings & Rings in Danville, KY is seeking a Line Cook to join the kitchen crew. This position focuses on consistent portioning, adherence to recipes, and quality control while delivering a high-energy dining experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of cooking experience, familiarity with soups, sauté, fry and pantry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and a readiness to engage customers.

Formación

• Food preparation skills and HACCP knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year of related cooking experience; high-volume/fast casual preferred.
• Knowledge of soups, sauté, fry, and pantry items.
• Ability to read, understand instructions and policy documents; communicate with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand during shifts.
• Hands frequently in water and with chemical cleaners.
• Frequent use of sharp knives, utensils and hot plates.
• Work in a hot environment.

Responsabilidades

• Complies with portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards per standardized recipes.
• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Follows proper plate presentation with appropriate garnish for all dishes.
• Sets up the cook line with foods, condiments, and garnishments at the start of each shift and restocks as needed.
• Maintains sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, sauté burners and refrigeration equipment.
• Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
• Closes the kitchen and follows the closing checklist; assist others in closing.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the chef.
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills with co-workers.
• Functions as a supportive team member during the course of their shift.
• Position requires regular, reliable attendance.
