Midwood Smokehouse on Central Ave. in Charlotte is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our high-volume kitchen. Pay is up to $20.00 per hour, with a must-have Friday-Sunday availability.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Good English communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds if needed.
• Flexible weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create mouth-watering barbecue dishes from scratch, following our recipes to produce consistent and high-quality results.
• Master and adhere to standard barbecue cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices.
• Smoke a variety of meats using hardwood smokers; cook other menu items on grill/fryers.
• Portion all products accurately, follow recipes precisely, and ensure presentation reflects authenticity.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhere to sanitization standards, and follow food handling guidelines.
