Job summary

Castaway in Burbank, CA, part of Specialty Restaurants Corporation, is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare dishes according to established recipes, work under pressure, and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure flawless service.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook.
Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals in collaboration with the kitchen team according to recipes.
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace exceeding Health Department standards.
Assist in ingredient preparation and stock cooking stations.
Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to kitchen management.
Support training of junior kitchen staff as needed.
