Job summary

Dave & Buster's Henderson is seeking a motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prep, cook and plate menu items following established recipes while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

You’ll work with a fun, fast-paced team, focusing on portion control and minimizing waste, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic entertainment-dining venue. Previous kitchen experience preferred, with availability for various shifts.

Qualifications

• 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards
• Helping minimize food waste by creating proper portions, staying vigilant for ticket errors, and communicating with expo
• Partnering with the service team to ensure food is accurate, delivered fresh and in a timely manner
• Adhering to all company and health department food safety procedures
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned
