Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien in Rye, NY is hiring kitchen team members to prep and execute all menu items, including seasonal items, for dine-in and to-go. Team members keep the workspace clean, assist with dish and equipment cleaning, and help maintain par levels using prep sheets for accurate quantities.

In this role you will perform line checks for quality, follow opening and closing procedures, and complete LPQ cleaning and food safety checklists to ensure proper handling of ingredients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipe and ticket standards.
• Willingness to be cross-trained across kitchen stations.

Responsibilities

• Prep and execute all menu items, including seasonal and specials for dine-in and to-go by LPQ ticket standards.
• Keep all areas of the restaurant clean and organized by following cleaning checklists and assisting with cleaning dishes and equipment.
• Assist Kitchen Manager in maintaining proper par levels and use prep sheet to prepare correct levels.
• Conduct line checks for quality control.
• Follow opening, mid, and closing procedures as directed by checklists and the Kitchen Manager.
• Follow and complete Le Pain Quotidien cleaning and food safety checklists to ensure proper food handling.
