Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to prep and execute all menu items, including seasonal items, for dine-in and to-go, adhering to LPQ ticket standards.

You’ll keep prep areas clean, assist with dishes and kitchen equipment, and help maintain proper par levels using prep sheets. You’ll perform line checks for quality and follow opening, mid, and closing procedures with the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• 1 or 3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Previous knife-handling experience a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prep and execute all menu items, including seasonal and specials for dine-in and to-go.
• Keep all areas clean and organized, assist with dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain proper par levels and use prep sheets to prepare correct quantities.
