Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group Career Center in California is hiring for Outback Steakhouse kitchen roles. We offer Line Cook positions in Salad, Fry, Sauté, Grill and Make Up, plus Kitchen Prep Cooks.

You will prepare food quickly and accurately, maintain equipment, and work as a team to deliver the best guest experience. This hourly, non-exempt role comes with health insurance, paid sick leave, and a paid day off after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• For California positions: California Beverage Service Certifications required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of food items and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.
• Operate Line Cook stations in Salad, Fry, Sauté, Grill and Make Up, plus Kitchen Prep Cooks.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of surroundings in the kitchen.
• Work as a team to meet standards in preparation and delivery of food items.
• Restock kitchen as needed and follow food safety practices.
