Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Line Cook in Atlanta to join our kitchen team. You will help maintain high quality and consistency, delivering dishes that meet our standards in a fast-paced, team environment.

Key duties include stocking and preparing ingredients, maintaining a sanitary workstation, following closing checklists, and reporting shortages to the Chef. The role requires at least two years of line cook experience and a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends,

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive energy.
• Must speak, read and understand basic cooking directions.
• Able to communicate effectively with managers, employees and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Stand/walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepares, stocks, and maintains the highest quality cuisine for our guests, compiling consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven flat top range, refrigeration equipment, and adhere to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen.
• Promptly report all product shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues to Chef.
