Job summary

Carlos O’Kelly’s is seeking a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) to join our family-style restaurant in Wichita, KS. You’ll follow recipes, prep stations, and maintain high standards for presentation, quality, and cook times while you learn all kitchen roles.

You’ll work with a friendly team in a fast-paced setting, gaining hands-on training in our from-scratch Mexican-inspired menu and contributing to a positive guest experience through teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Carlos O’Kelly’s Recipes and specifications (50%).
• Complete all assigned prep work (15%).
• Set up workstation according to station diagram (15%).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%).
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift (5%).
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects (5%).
