Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, chop, and store ingredients for cooking per recipes and standards.
• Wash, peel, weigh, measure, and mix fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Cook food using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers per checklist standards.
• Prepare cold foods and test items to confirm sufficient cooking and quality.
• Set up and break down workstation; serve food in proper portions on receptacles.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and cooking equipment.
• Monitor food and appliance temperatures to ensure safety and correctness standards.
• Follow safety policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager.
• Maintain clean uniform, professional appearance, and positive teamwork with colleagues.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift objects up to twenty-five pounds during shifts.
