Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to support in-house meal preparation at Blue Door Kitchen. You will stock stations, prepare ingredients, cook dishes per recipes, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while helping to manage costs and waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a line cook.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Knife handling skills.
• Certified in Food Safety with the State of Texas, OR the ability to pass Certification.

Responsibilities

• Stock kitchen stations and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
• Cook and assemble dishes while maintaining quality standards.
• Enforce health and safety standards in all food handling areas.
• Control portions and minimize waste to meet cost targets.
• Ensure timely dish preparation and restock at the station.
