Job summary

The Residence at Glastonbury, operated by LCB Senior Living, is hiring full-time Line Cooks for a rewarding role in Glastonbury, CT. You will provide a restaurant-style dining experience for residents and assist with meals from prep to service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1-3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, production guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Work with Culinary Services Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Assist with supervision of culinary staff.
• Prepare and execute dining enhancement programs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen and food storage areas.
• Open and/or close the kitchen and adhere to cleaning schedules.
