Job summary

Suburban Inns’ Big E’s is seeking a part-time Line Cook to join a fast-paced team. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, each about 6–8 hours, with wage starting at $16–$18/hour and negotiable based on experience. The position can be used as a paid internship.

As a Line Cook, you will prepare all food items per recipes and health standards, greet guests warmly, and ensure 100% guest satisfaction while upholding company standards and procedures. Benefits are available for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret/extract information and perform arithmetic functions.
• Prior restaurant experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner and connect with guests.
• Prepare all required items according to recipes and standards.
• Set up service units with needed items and maintain cleanliness.
• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain logs as required.
• Adhere to uniform and appearance guidelines and assist with other duties as needed.
