Job summary

ACCESS | MANAGEMENT ∙ REALTY ∙ MAINTENANCE ∙ LIFESTYLE in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Line Cook to ensure quality preparation and proper handling of all menu items in a busy kitchen.

You will work at one or more stations, follow recipes, assist with cleaning and storage, and help with pre-service prep while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. English communication required; previous kitchen experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff and guests.
• Must communicate in English and read instructions in English.
• Proficient in cooking methods including sautéing, braising, fryer, poaching, roasting.
• Previous kitchen experience required.
• Able to work in a clean, organized way with safe food handling practices.
• Able to work in a hot kitchen environment.
• Food Handler certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present food at one or more kitchen stations: pantry, saute, grill.
• Follow standardized recipes and ensure consistent preparation to guest specifications.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and equipment upkeep.
• Support proper storage, preparation, cooking and presentation of all food items.
• Assist with advance prep before service hours.
• Follow safety guidelines including safe-handling of food items and knife safety.
