Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients, cook menu items, and ensure high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the kitchen staff to maintain consistency and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or similar role preferred.
• Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be available to work full PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely and organized manner
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace in compliance with health regulations
• Follow proper food handling, safety, and hygiene practices
• Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff
• Monitor inventory and report shortages or issues
