Job summary

Adventureland in Iowa seeks a motivated Line Cook to prepare hot and cold dishes, set up workstations, and ensure high-quality meals for guests. You will follow recipes, monitor plating, and maintain cleanliness and food safety throughout service.

This role requires 1+ year in a kitchen, ability to work evenings and weekends, and a willingness to learn. Spanish language skills are a plus, and you must be at least 18 with reliable transportation to the park.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a chef, cook, or culinary-related role desirable but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or bilingual skills are a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old; ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workstations with supplies, foods, and condiments.
• Deliver high-quality food for all meals prepared.
• Inspect and clean all food preparation areas.
• Follow ServSafe, state and local regulations, and company policies.
• Know ingredients used and manage inventory and storage.
