Job summary

Black Bear Diner is seeking a Line Cook to prepare, cook and plate high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen. The role requires strict adherence to food safety standards and detailed cleanliness in a busy environment.

You will work closely with kitchen and dining room staff, supporting line stations, rotating products and maintaining temperatures to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and congested environment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and staff.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, plate and finish all food items according to Black Bear Diner procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment.
• Monitor temperatures, rotate stock and label products.
• Assist in closing the kitchen and completing side work.
• Support other stations as needed to ensure smooth service.
