Job summary

Siena Tavern in Chicago’s River North seeks Line Cooks to join a vibrant kitchen. You will prepare hot and cold components, follow recipes and yield guides, and work across sauté, grill, pantry, and fry stations to support fast, high-volume service.

The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, sanitation, teamwork, and consistency. Candidates should have at least 3 years of kitchen experience, a Food Handler Certification, and flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of restaurant kitchen experience.
• Fine dining and/or high-volume restaurant experience preferred.
• Must have a valid Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components of all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Cook and prepare a variety of foods using different methods (sauces, vinaigrettes, purees, soups).
• Move between all line stations: saute, grill, pantry, fry.
• Coordinate with team to support smooth service and maintain quality.
• Ensure sanitation standards and proper labeling and FIFO in storage.
