Responsibilities

• Set up stations and collect supplies to prepare menu for service.
• Prepare a variety of foods, meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold items.
• Arrange sauces and garnishes for assigned station.
• Date and store all prep items properly.
• Notify Chef of shortages ahead of time.
• Serve menu items to established standards.
• Use food prep tools per manufacturers’ instructions.
• Close the kitchen and follow closing checklists.
• Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times.
• Keep the work area fresh throughout the shift.
• Store products properly and tidy storage areas.
• Follow safe and hygienic food handling practices.
• Return dirty utensils to proper areas.
• Assist with duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager.
