Job summary

Eggs Up Grill in Lawrenceville, GA is hiring a Line Cook/Prep Cook for daytime hours. Work with a team to prepare high-quality dishes at multiple stations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety standards and ServSafe principles.

You will set up stations, cook menu items, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver timely, consistent meals. Experience as line cook or prep cook is required; ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience, including line cook or prep cook roles.
• Familiar with kitchen terminology.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, procedures and equipment.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Familiar with industry best practices.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and kitchen
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out at high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Complete Temperature Logs and Checklists for daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Participate in all roles in the kitchen as required, including as dishwasher when needed
