Job summary

Flanigan in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking motivated kitchen staff to join our crew. You will follow safety policies, prepare menu items from recipe manual, and maintain station cleanliness.

You must be able to work nights/weekends/holidays, stand for long periods, read English, and handle hot equipment. Training on open flame grill, stove, slicer etc. A strong team player with attention to detail preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible shift schedule which may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Reach, bend, stoop.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Able to read recipes and food labels.
• Able to read POS ticket orders.
• Communicates ticket times and flows food from kitchen to guests.
• Safely use kitchen machinery (Open Flame Grill, Stove, Slicer, etc).
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and training.
• Prepares menu items according to Flanigan’s recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Ensures rotation of products and stocks to par level.
• Helps complete assigned prep work and set up stations.
• Transports items to and from kitchen and assists with deliveries to guests.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen area throughout shift.
• Breaks down and cleans all stations at closing.
