Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking a motivated Line Cook to support our Innovation kitchen, preparing meals across all F&B outlets and upholding our service standards.

You will prep ingredients, assist chefs, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, manage inventory, plate dishes to specification, and work well under pressure with a team. A High School diploma and 2 years restaurant experience are required, along with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or higher.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients daily for upcoming specials and the regular menu.
• Assist the Executive Chef/Sous Chefs with recipes and daily tasks.
• Maintain a clean kitchen environment and proper sanitary practices.
• Monitor inventory and inform when items need reordering.
• Line cooking and plate dishes to the chef's specifications.
• Follow safety procedures and proper handwashing.
• Support banquet prep and loading/unloading of supplies.
