Job summary

Delaware North's Patina Group at MLB in New York, NY is seeking a full-time Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare food for guest orders, follow recipes, and communicate with serving staff to ensure timely, high-quality dishes.

There is no formal diploma required; we offer training and development, weekly pay, and a benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Shift is typically Mon-Fri days with a 20 lb lift requirement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
• Team player, follow procedures, and taking directions
• Basic math skills for recipe measurements
• No experience or diploma required

Responsibilities

• Follow the supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products for guests by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
• Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures, as well as keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
• Work cooperatively with team members and management
• Follow the supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures
