Job summary

Drift Nashville is seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team, supporting food production across The Sun Room, Dawn Café, Pool Service, and private events. You’ll work with a talented culinary team to prepare high-quality food in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen.

The role requires line cook experience, ability to work multiple stations, strong food safety knowledge, and flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, or high‑volume kitchen.
• Comfortable working multiple stations and adapting to changing business needs.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable, organized, and able to thrive in a team environment.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Tennessee Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and stock stations before each service.
• Work a variety of stations depending on business needs.
• Support breakfast, lunch, pool, banquet, and special event service.
• Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Monitor product quality and freshness throughout each shift.
• Assist with prep, organization, and inventory management.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and service‑ready.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members during service.
• Help create a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
