Job summary

PopStroke is seeking a Cook to prepare food for guests in a high‑volume kitchen, following our standards and safety procedures. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work weekends and holidays as needed.

You will keep the kitchen clean and organized, assist with inventory, operate kitchen equipment safely, and support opening and closing procedures. At PopStroke we value energy, teamwork, ownership, and a fun, guest‑focused culture.

Qualifications

• Cook with high-volume kitchen experience.
• Must be available weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food quickly, safely and in accordance with standards.
• Follow portion control to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Accurately use technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment and storage areas.
• Assist with inventory management and notify shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
• Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and complete opening/closing procedures.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of trash area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
