Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a line cook or similar role.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Understanding of proper food handling, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specs.
• Cooking and Assembly: cook and plate dishes per standards with proper portioning.
• Quality Control: ensure dishes meet quality standards and adjust seasoning as needed.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: follow sanitation procedures and keep stations clean.
• Communication: coordinate with kitchen staff on menu items and feedback.
• Inventory Management: assist in monitoring inventory and rotate/store food items.
• Adaptability: handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment and adapt to menu changes.
